Goodbye, Summer

~8am call time, return to work, Aug. 8~

On cold, rainy days, I'll revisit this photo!

I've been a bit busy this week, despite not having access to my classroom.  Why do the-powers-that-be wait until the last minute to wax the hallways?!

(Crate & Bow idea found on Pinterest)
I've been sorting papers and filing all summer.  With orientation occurring in just four days, I am grateful to have not procrastinated with this task!

This is a sample of items I've hard-laminated.
(Thank you, FedEx/Kinkos!)
The large crayons are for the job board, the small crayon box tags are for the behavior chart, the subject strips are part of the daily schedule chart.  The blank, bordered cards will be used in a multitude of ways.  There are six more laminated pages to cut apart!  Pricey, but worth it in the long run!

I'll be back soon with pictures from my room!
May time s-t-r-e-t-c-h for all of you, as we create magical spaces for learning!

  6. Thanks everyone!

I printed the labels on Word. BUT, I cut the "Reading", "Math", etc. labels from a catalog! Yup. My idea of recycling is a bit unusual. :-)
